Lobby Theory / Website terms
Website terms
Product-preview website. These terms cover this site and its local demonstrations. Lobby Theory’s production application and subscription terms have not been adopted. No public application access, paid service, or research participation is offered by using this preview.
1. Operator and purpose
Lobby Theory is developed and operated by Johnny Antwiler. The site introduces Lobby Theory, a companion and coach for Teamfight Tactics currently in development, and provides illustrative product flows for review. Use of this site is subject to these website terms and applicable law.
2. Development and availability
The product is in development, with Overwolf as its planned distribution channel. There is no announced release date, public download, checkout, testing enrollment, or working waitlist. Features, integrations, and availability may change as feasibility and permissions are resolved. No Riot endorsement, partnership, production-key approval, or Overwolf approval is claimed.
The site and demonstrations may be updated, interrupted, or discontinued; no continuous-availability commitment is made.
3. What the demonstrations mean
The hero animation is an illustrated concept with a patch-labeled build example. The overlay’s two generic sample guides use fictional unit letters, item labels, and component combinations to explain interface behavior, not actual TFT recipes. The coaching review and practice scenario are synthetic. The theorycrafting view assembles editable experimental drafts from the example roster rather than invoking a production recommendation system.
Selections and saved demo builds exist in page memory and reset when the page is reloaded or left. No real game, Riot account, payment, upload, model, or combat simulator is connected. Consent switches do not record consent, and the deletion preview does not submit a request or erase anything.
4. Player control and feature boundaries
The free overlay shows a guide selected by the player, including champion roles, item plans, component requirements, substitutes, and temporary item holders. Its economy readouts show facts about your own gold, board value, and gold to the next level; the displayed preview values are synthetic. During play, these readouts do not tell you when to roll or level or compare you with the lobby. Players can manually choose and replace their active guide during play. The app does not automatically switch compositions or perform game actions.
Shop markers identify matches to the selected guide’s categories, leave unmatched cards unmarked, and must not obscure shop cards or present a ranked verdict on every purchase. Their implementation and source permissions require feature-specific review.
Theorycrafting accepts one or more champions, one or more items, or both; presents a recommended starting point and alternatives with explanations and trade-offs; supports editing and saving; and lets the player select a build for the overlay, including a build made during the match. The generator uses player-entered planning inputs and is not automatically fed the live board. The in-match workflow requires feature-specific review. Compatible Team Planner code export is planned; only information supported by that format can transfer.
Personalized coaching occurs only after the entire match ends. There is no live opponent scouting, automatic in-match coaching instruction stream, gameplay automation, client manipulation, or anti-cheat bypass. Player choice does not itself establish regulatory or platform approval.
5. Evidence and reliance
Coaching and build explanations must distinguish observations, inference, assumptions, and missing evidence. Evidence-supported builds should identify their basis and patch; custom experiments are not represented as validated builds. The preview does not guarantee complete match reconstruction, an exact best decision, a damage advantage, rank improvement, or a particular outcome.
Illustrations can become outdated as TFT changes. The hero’s patch label describes the retained example, not a promise of current live guidance. Use the preview to understand the intended product, not as a source of live match instructions or a representation of released functionality.
6. Free and premium
The overlay is free. Personalized coaching and focused practice are planned as a paid offering. Prices, coaching allowances, advertising arrangements, and theorycrafting’s tier allocation remain undecided. This site does not establish a trial allowance, take payment, activate subscriptions, or create a purchase obligation.
Production purchase, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will need to be provided before any paid service is offered. Any future monetization must satisfy the necessary product and platform approvals.
7. Data choices and privacy
Ordinary free overlay use does not automatically create a persistent match recording or cloud upload. Personal review recording, requested coaching processing, research contribution, and training Lobby Theory’s own models have distinct purposes and choices.
Free and paid users may separately opt into research without purchasing or requesting coaching. Research and own-model training are both off by default; research alone does not authorize training. Research cannot be offered until the required permissions, disclosures, and controls are ready. No production AI vendor or retention schedule has been selected.
The complete privacy notice explains this website’s actual behavior, planned production sources, local/raw and uploaded/derived evidence boundaries, and unresolved retention and deletion arrangements. The demonstration activates none of these data uses.
8. Acceptable website use
You may view and use the demonstrations for their stated preview purpose. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the website or its access controls, distribute malicious code through it, or misuse others’ information. Do not send passwords, authentication/session material, API keys, or raw game files to the contact addresses.
9. Intellectual property and third-party services
Teamfight Tactics, Riot artwork, and associated properties belong to their respective rights holders. Their use here identifies and illustrates the companion product in development; it does not imply endorsement or grant you rights in those assets. Lobby Theory’s own branding and original site materials remain subject to their applicable rights. Included third-party fonts retain their licenses.
Links to Riot, guide sources, or other third-party sites are provided for context. Their content, terms, and practices are their own. Future third-party integrations would require their applicable permissions and terms.
10. Website limitations
This unreleased preview is provided as available for demonstration. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no warranty is made that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, suitable for a particular purpose, or a complete account of future product functionality. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
This preview does not create a production service agreement, a coaching subscription, or authorization for future data processing. Production terms will be separate and must reflect the actual offering.
11. Updates and contact
These website terms may change when the site changes; the date above identifies this version. For questions, contact Johnny Antwiler at support@lobbytheory.com. Privacy inquiries should go to privacy@lobbytheory.com.
